DescriptionOur VIR Eliminator kit converts the A/C system on most 1974-1976 GM vehicles to a cycling clutch system as found on later model vehicles. The original VIR assembly is replaced with an accumulator and orifice. This conversion eliminates common problems with sticking POA and/or expansion valves, along with reducing desiccant break down and rust formation in the steel casing enhanced by heat from the exhaust manifold. Installation may require minor modification of the original A/C hose assembly. Works very well when retrofitting the A/C system to 134a or other EPA approved automotive refrigerant. Made in the USA!
