ACDelco GM Original Equipment 19256264 Fuel Level Sensor Kit with Seal

The fuel gauge in the 2006 Chevy Trailblazer stopped functioning due to sulfur buildup on the original sending unit. Upon comparison, I was pleased to see that AC Delco upgraded and improve this part over the original design, namely by increasing the size of the fingers that read the sweep gauge to increase the durability of the gauge. It was also noted in the instructions that it was constructed of materials that resist sulfur build up. Regardless, I would suggest that Techtron fuel system cleaner be added to your tank a few times a year to help to keep the fuel system clean and prevent the sender from failing again. Hopefully I won’t have to drop my fuel tank again for a long time/ever.
